Georg Jensen Silver Louvre Bowl
A Georg Jensen sterling silver bowl on pedestal base, model #19A (designed by Georg Jensen in 1912). This design is known as the Louvre bowl as an example was purchased for permanent collection of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at the Louvre Museum in 1914. 8" (20.3cm) diameter, 6 3/4" (17.1cm) high, 26.3 troy oz. (819g).
It is engraved on the underside: "Presented to B. E. (Mike) Mercer By His College Street Associates On The Occasion Of His Appointment As A Director Of The T. Eaton Co. Ltd. June 1953".
