A fine George II Provincial silver loving cup by Isaac Cookson, hallmarked Newcastle 1745. Bell-shaped body on pedestal base with chased decoration, fluting on the lower body and two scroll handles. A later script monogram engraved on one handle. 5" (12.7cm) high, 7.5" (19cm) from handle to handle, 9.5 troy oz (294g).
