A George III sterling silver sugar bowl, hallmarked London 1803, maker’s mark illegible. Oval shaped body with two tau shaped handles and gilt interior. Lower body embossed with fluting in sections, upper body engraved with scroll, foliage decoration and reeded borders. Inscribed with script monogram on the central cartouches. 6.5” (16.5cm) handle to handle, 5.3 troy oz (164g).
