A large and exceptionally heavy four-piece English sterling silver tea service by Barker Brothers, hallmarked Birmingham 1950. Melon shaped with scroll handles and spouts, chased all over with flowers and foliage. The set includes a teapot, coffee pot, cream jug, and sugar bowl. Height of coffee pot 8.25" (21cm), total weight 110 troy oz (3420g).
