A fine quality early Victorian sterling silver tea set by Robert Hennell III, hallmarked London 1857. Baluster shape chased and embossed with ornate flowers, foliage and scrolls, applied flower finial, acanthus capped scroll handle. Each piece engraved with a family crest, the cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt interiors. Length of teapot handle to spout 9" (22.8cm), capacity of teapot 5 cups (1250ml), total weight 69.3 troy oz (2156g)
