An early Victorian sterling silver tea set by William Hunter, hallmarked London 1856/62. Baluster shape engraved with ornate acanthus and scrolls, acanthus capped scroll handle. Each piece engraved with a family crest, the cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt interiors. Length of teapot handle to spout 8.7" (22cm), capacity of teapot 5 cups (1250ml), total weight 75.5 troy oz (2347g)
