A fine quality late Victorian sterling silver basket by Edward Barnard and Sons, hallmarked London 1900. In the mid 18th century Dutch Rococo style, pierced oval body with two end-handles, on four stylized leaf feet. Applied with flower, foliage and scroll decoration. 8.5" (21.6cm) handle to handle, 5.5" (14cm) deep, 11 troy oz (342g).
