Not sure if your items are sterling? Look for stamps or markings such as:
- British Silver: a series of hallmarks (small symbols stamped into the silver) that include a lion.
- North American Look for the word "sterling" or the number "925".
- European Look for hallmarks or numbers like "800", "830" or "84".
