A Victorian sterling silver gilt mug by John, Edward, Walter & John Barnard, hallmarked London 1871. Tapered cylindrical shape, engraved all over with ferns and foliage, engraved with a decorative monogram on the front and a presentation inscription on the underside: "From his children/ 14th March 1872". 4.5" (11.4cm) high, 14oz (450ml) capacity, 7.9 ozt (247g).
