A Victorian sterling silver tea set by Robert Garrard II, hallmarked London 1879 and 1885 (teapot). Plain tapered oval shape with turned wood loop handle, engraved with bands of bright cut decorations. Each piece is engraved with a family crest, the cream jug and sugar bowl with gilt interiors. Length of teapot handle to spout 10.75" (27.3cm), capacity of teapot 4 cups (1000ml), total weight 55.2 troy oz (1717g)
