An attractive George III sterling silver tea tray by John Crouch I & Thomas Hannam, hallmarked London 1790. Oval shape with reed border and acanthus capped reed handles. The interior hand-engraved with scrolls, the centre engraved with a coat of arms and motto "Fideliter" (Faithfully). 22" (55.9cm) handle to handle, 19.75" (50.2cm) not including handles, 14.7" (37.3cm) wide, 70.4 troy oz (2189).
