A vintage English sterling silver jewellery box by Charles S Green & Co Ltd with retail mark of O.B. Allan, hallmarked Birmingham 1940. Elongated hexagon shape with gilt interior, the hinged lid with ornate acanthus scrolls motifs and central cartouche, cobalt-blue fabric lining, on four legs. 4.75" (11.4cm) across, 1.75" (4.5cm) high.
