A large fine quality German sterling silver jewellery box by B. Neresheimer and Sohne of Hanau, also marked with British import marks for Edwin Thompson Bryant, London 1897. Rectangular shape, embossed and chased in high relief on the front, back and sides with scenes of villagers in celebration, gilt interior. 9" (22.9cm) long, 5.25" (13.3cm) deep, 2.75" (7cm) high, 29.7 troy oz (924g).
