St Mary's Church Witney Silver Vinaigrette

A very rare Victorian sterling silver castle-top vinaigrette by Nathaniel Mills, hallmarked Birmingham 1849. Rectangular form with scroll edge, and concave sides, the lid engraved with a scene depicting the St Mary's Church, Witney with rayed background. The interior with pierced and gilt grill engraved with scrolls. The base engraved with foliage and scroll decoration. 1.25" (3.2cm) long.
