Edwardian Silver Centrepiece Bowl

A fine quality Edwardian sterling silver centrepiece bowl or jardiniere by James Dixon & Sons hallmarked Sheffield 1909. Pierced circular body with applied shell, scroll and gadroon border, on three acanthus capped scroll legs with foliate feet. 10 7⁄8" (27.6cm) diameter, 5.5" (14cm) high, 36 troy oz (1120g).
