A fine George III sterling silver basket (for cake or fruit) by William Abdy II, hallmarked London 1801. Neoclassical style, pierced navette shape on conforming foot with reeded swing handle, with applied gadroon border. 14" (35.5cm) long, 10.4" (26.5cm) wide, 25.2 troy oz (784g).
