Ornate Victorian Sterling Silver Chamberstick

A Victorian sterling silver chamberstick by Frederick Brasted, hallmarked London 1883. Circular with gadroon borders, embossed and chased with ornate floral and foliage motifs on the dripping pan, with removable snuffer. The handle with applied figural decoration showing a man dressed in 18th century garb lifting a ball. 10 7⁄8" (27.6cm) across, 10.7 troy oz (334g).
