A pair of fine quality Dutch silver (.934 standard) open salts by Hendrik Smiths, hallmarked for Amsterdam 1810 (retail mark of Diemont). Navette shaped with pierced body, loop handles and cobalt blue glass liners. 5.25" (13.2cm) across, 4.9 ozt (153g). Sold with a pair of late 18th century English salt spoons.
