A pair of Victorian sterling silver butter shells by Francis Higgins III, hallmarked London 1884. Scallop shell shape, each with three nautilus form feet. With two matching butter spreaders in Albany pattern, in a fitted leather case*. 4.75" x 4" (12 x 10.2cm), total weight 6.6 troy oz (205g).

*the clasp of the case does not work.
