A Regency period silver dinner plate by Paul Storr, hallmarked London 1809. Circular with shaped edge, gadroon and shell border. Engraved with a coat-of-arms and motto "Turpiter Desperatur" (Despair is Base). 10.25" (26cm) diameter, 21.4 troy oz (667g).
