Victorian Double-Side Castle Top Card Case

An attractive early Victorian sterling silver castle top card case by Nathaniel Mills, hallmarked Birmingham 1837. Pierced rectangular body, beautifully chased with floral and scrolling foliage, the centre embossed in high relief with a scene depicting Abbotsford House on the front, and Newstead Abbey on the reverse. 3.75" (9.5cm) x 2.9" (7.3cm).
