A rare Scottish Provincial Silver tablespoon by William Jamieson of Aberdeen, c. 1820. Double struck Fiddle Thread pattern, engraved with a monogram WEW, a family crest and motto "VIGET IN CINERE VIRTUS" (Virtue flourishes from ashes)  on the terminal. 8.75" (22.3cm) long, 3.1 troy oz (96g).
