A pair of heavy English cast sterling silver candlesticks by Richard Comyns, hallmarked London 1928. Cast construction, in the early George III style, each on square base with gadroon border and wrythen fluting and shoulder. Engraved with a family crest, 10 1⁄8" (25.8cm) high, 4.5" (11.5cm) across the base, 41.2 ozt (1282g).
