A George II sterling silver sweetmeat basket, hallmarked London 1758. Oval body on ring foot with swing handle and gadroon border, embossed with flowers and foliage decoration. Engraved with a monogram on the centre. 5.8" (14.8cm) across, 3.2 troy oz (99g).
