A fine quality handmade sterling silver sauce bowl and matching ladle by Poul Petersen, Montreal c. 1960. Tapered ovoid-shaped body with flared and scalloped rim, applied leaf and fruit decoration on the sides, on a round and integral stand, with wooden handle and hammered finish. 6.1" (15.6 cm) across, 4" (10.1 cm) high, total weight 13.3 troy oz, (414 g).
