A large German silver goblet by H P, c. 1840, 12 Loth (.750). Thistle-shaped bowl on pedestal foot, embossed and chased with flowers and acanthus decoration. With gilt interior and German inscription. 8" (20.3cm) high, 4.5" (11.4cm) diameter at the top, 17.7 oz (552g).
