Victorian Silver Claret Jug

A fine quality Victorian sterling silver claret jug by William & George Sissons, hallmarked Sheffield 1863. Star etched glass body on circular pedestal foot. Set with sterling silver collar, hinged lid, and handle, pierced and chased with vines, scrolls and foliage. Engraved with a script monogram C in the central cartouche. 9.25" (23.5cm) high, 1250ml capacity.
