A large and fine quality sterling silver centerpiece bowl by Black, Starr and Frost, New York c.1890. Shaped circular form with serpentine edge and fluted interior and wide everted rim pierced and applied with flowers and foliage in high relief. With a contemporary script monogram in the center CSL. 14.5" (36.8cm) diameter, 38.3 troy oz (1192g).
