Antique Victorian Silver Milk Jug

An antique Victorian sterling silver milk jug or cream jug by Samuel Hayne and Dudley Cater, hallmarked London 1846. Baluster shaped on four shell feet with double scroll handle, the body chased and embossed with flowers, scrolls and foliage. Later monogram. 6" (15.2cm) high, 9 troy oz (279g).
