A superb quality handmade Britannia silver (.958) tea set by Asprey Co., hallmarked London 1916, comprising a teapot, hot water pot, cream jug and sugar bowl. In the George I style, pyriform bodies, with ivory scroll handles and faceted scroll spouts, the hinged high-domed covers with ivory finials. Teapot is 8.5" (21.6cm) from handle to spout, capacity of teapot is 3 cups (750ml), 62 ozt (1927g).
