British Colonial Silver Tea Service

A Victorian silver tea and coffee service of unknown British Colonial origin, possibly Canadian, c. 1865. Baluster shaped bodies with domed lids, scroll handles and spouts, engraved and chased decoration. Marked only with pseudo hallmarks, handmade and exceptionally heavy, height of coffee pot 9.25" (23.5cm), total weight 99 ozt (3078g).
