An ornate Regency period silver tea set by John Watson, hallmarked Sheffield 1819. Fluted baluster shaped bodies embossed in high relief with scrolls, shells, flowers and acanthus leaves, with acanthus capped scroll handles and spouts and gadroon borders. Each piece engraved with a coat of arms and motto "Vi et Virtute". Height of coffee pot 12" (30.5cm), total weight 88.5 ozt (2753g).
