An attractive George III sterling silver cake basket hallmarked Sheffield 1810 by Smith, Tate & Co. Circular with swing handle and reticulated edge, the interior engraved with a coat of arms and motto: Recta Platea Sursum. 10" (25.4cm) diameter, 23 troy oz. (714g).
