A set of four George III silver candlesticks by William Cattell, hallmarked London 1771, with a matched pair of three-light arms by Louisa Courtauld & George Cowles, London c. 1775. Cast construction, shaped hexagonal bases with shells at the corners, shell-capped inverted baluster stems and spool-shaped sockets. Engraved with a family crest. Height of candelabra 16.5" (41.9cm), height of candlesticks 11.25" (28.6cm) high, 167.9 troy oz (5221g).
