An Italian sterling silver dessert stand (or tazza) with retail mark of Birks, c. 1960. Lobed circular bowl on circular base with embossed acanthus, shell and scroll decoration, and applied shell and fruit decoration. The stem in the form of a cherub holding a cornucopia. 13.4" (34cm) high, 8.75" (22.3cm) diameter, 46.6 troy oz. (1450g).
