Luen Wo Chinese Silver Tea Set

A fine quality Chinese Export Silver tea set by Luen Wo, Shanghai c.1900. Melon shaped, comprising a teapot, cream jug, and sugar bowl with beautiful applied iris, chrysanthemum, prunus, peony, bamboo and birds. The teapot with bamboo shaped loop handle and spout, the hinged lid with applied leaf and branch finial, length of teapot spout to handle 9.5" (24.1cm), total weight 28 troy oz (871g).
