Tetard 950 Silver Entree Dish

A French .950 silver entree dish by renowned silversmith Edmond Tetard, Paris 1880-1901. Circular shape on spreading foot with domed lid and scrolling acanthus handles. Engraved two armorials, one with motto "atavis et armis" (by Ancestors and Arms). 10.5" (26.7cm) handle to handle, 38.6 troy oz (1199g).
