An American coin silver milk jug by southern makers (and retailers) Hyde and Goodrich, New Orleans c. 1850. Baluster shaped body on ring foot with double scroll handle and embossed with scrolls, flowers and foliage. Capacity is 18 fl oz (530ml), 6.25" (16cm) high, 8.5 ozt (264g).
