A large Victorian sterling silver rose bowl by John Aldwinckle and Thomas Slater, hallmarked London 1892. Monteith style, hemispherical on pedestal foot with crenelated edge, applied floral border, the body with repoussé scrolls, fruit and foliage in the rococo style. 9" (23cm) diameter, 6" (15.2cm) high, 24.9 oz (774g).
