An American sterling silver rose bowl by Gorham, Providence c. 1900. Circular shape with convex sides and everted rim on ring foot. The body beautifully decorated with repoussé flowers and foliage, the foot cast with cherubs, foliage and scrolls, gilt interior. Marked with "copyrighted 1889", 9.75" (24.8cm) diameter, 4 1⁄8" (10.5cm) high, 22 troy oz (685g).
