A pair of fine quality George III silver sauce tureens by Henry Greenway, hallmarked for London 1782. Neoclassical style, oval bodies on pedestal bases with reeded loop handles, reed-and-ribbon and bead borders, bands of bright cut engraving and acanthus capped finial. Engraved with stag crests on the bodies and lids, 8.5" (21.6cm) across the handles, 5.75" (14.6cm) high, 37.6 ozt (1169g).
