A pair of novelty German sterling silver nef form candlesticks, Hanau c. 1890 (possibly by Wolf and Nell), hallmarked with London import marks for 1894 by William Moering. Each with stylized swan-form hull on wave-form base, with scroll-work column, mast, sail and putti steering and rowing. 8.5" (21.6cm) length over all, 14.6 troy (454g).
