A rare Victorian novelty sterling silver teapot by Hukin & Heath, hallmarked Birmingham 1895. In the form of a watering can, drum oval shape with a tapered spout and two wicker covered handles. This design has been attributed to Christopher Dresser in "Christopher Dresser, a Pioneer of Modern Design", Widar Halen, pg. 180. A pot of the same design is in the collection of the Brohan Museum in Berlin. 7.5" (19.1cm) across, 2 cups (500ml) capacity, 11.9 troy oz (369g).
