A massive Edwardian sterling silver inkstand by Martin Hall and Co, hallmarked for Sheffield 1907. Rectangular shaped frame with pierced gallery two square cut-glass ink bottles with hinged covers, gadroon borders and scroll feet. Exceptionally heavy and fine quality. 13 3⁄8" (34.3cm) across, 9.25" (23.5cm) deep, 45.2 troy oz (1406g) weighable.
