French 950 Silver Claret Jug

A French .950 silver-mounted glass claret jug by Société Anonyme Orfèvrerie Maillard, Paris c. 1910. Glass body cut with spiral lines and etched with foliage. The silver mount embossed with scroll, shell and foliate decoration on a pedestal foot, with gilt interior. Engraved with a script monogram under the spout. 13.25" (33.6cm) high, 5 cups (1250ml) capacity.
