A rare and fine quality French .950 silver wine bottle carriage (or chariot) c. 1900, stamped with French export mark, return mark, and maker's mark L and Cie beneath a crown. The body embossed and chased with foliate swags and supported by two wheels, the scroll handle with acanthus leaves and green man mask. Engraved with a monogram MT. 13" (33cm) long, 37.2 troy oz (1156g).
