A French Provincial silver chocolate pot c. 1780. Baluster shaped on three splayed legs with turned side handle and domed lid with pivoting finial which covers a hole (to allow access for a muddler). Stamped three times with maker's mark IC with crown above and Fleur-de-lis below. 9.75" (24.8cm) high, 20 ozt (622g).
