Set of Four George III Sterling Silver Candlesticks

A fine quality set of four early George III sterling silver candlesticks by William Cafe, hallmarked London 1763. Each on square base with gadroon border and wrythen fluting, and in the same style as the shoulders of the columns and sconces. Numbered one through four, each inscribed with its original weight. 10.75" (27.3cm) high, 4.9" (12.6cm) across the base, 97.7 troy oz (3037g).
