A fine heavy George III sterling silver serving dish by Philip Rundell for Rundell Bridge & Rundell, hallmarked London 1819. Circular shape with lobed body, with applied shell and acanthus border, engraved with a coat of arms with motto "Spes Vitae Melioris" (Hope for a better life). 10 3/8" (26.4cm) diameter, 27 troy oz (841g).
