Sterling Silver Claret Jug by Elkington & Co

A fine quality Victorian sterling silver claret jug by Elkington Co, hallmarked for London 1895. The cut crystal body is oval on circular pedestal foot, the top half cut and engraved with flowers and foliage in the "Rock Crystal" manner, the bottom half cut with geometric facets. Set with sterling silver mounts embossed with scrolls and stylized shells on matte ground in the Rococo style. 13" (33cm) high.
